2012 Montgomery College Programming Competition

The CSIIT Department of Montgomery College, Maryland hosted the 2012 Programming Competition. “This event brings talented high school students from Washington metropolitan area to participate in a programming competition using the Java programming language. Each team will demonstrate its programming skills and problem-solving abilities by developing solutions to a number of programming problems.”

In the 2011 competition, Jack Zhu and Daniel Sun won first place in the Advanced division, and Jake Koenig and Pavleen Thukral won second place. In the Intro division, Joy Zeng and Annie Chu won second place and Xiaoyu Yin and Peter Lun won fifth place.

In this year’s competition, Prateek Mechineni and Jeff Falgout won first place in the Advanced division.
